Hub International Limited (Hub) has acquired The Transportation Group, LTD (TTG), a Dallas and Houston, Texas-based brokerage firm that specializes in insurance and risk management for the trucking industry. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
TTG will become part of Hub International Transportation Insurance Services Inc. (Hub Transportation). Jim Howse and Jerry Gillikin, owners of TTG, will join Hub Transportation, reporting to Mike Birge, president of Hub Transportation.
TTG provides insurance products and services for the trucking industry in Texas, and is comprised of various specialists who have dedicated their careers to this sector.
The addition of TTG strengthens Hub Transportation’s current footprint in the Texas market, adding a new presence in Dallas and expanding Hub’s existing base in Houston and San Antonio, headed up by Dennis Templeton, managing vice president, Hub Transportation.
