Little Rock police have arrested a suspect in at least two of the recent robberies that have left convenience store and fast food restaurant operators on edge.
Police said that 22-year-old David Henry Johnson of Little Rock turned himself in on June 27. Investigators are continuing to look for 21-year-old Crashon Britton.
Despite progress in the cases, another robbery occurred at about 10:45 p.m. June 27 at a Big Red convenience store on South University Avenue. Police say an armed man and an accomplice took money and fled on foot.
About a dozen stores and restaurants have been robbed in Little Rock in the past couple of months. Several suspects have been arrested, including a man who dressed as a woman and three women who dressed as men during robberies.
