Wells Publishing has named Mindy Trammell as its new advertising sales representative in the South Central/Texas region for its flagship Insurance Journal online and print property/casualty insurance publications.
Trammell will serve advertisers in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma for Insurance Journal Magazine, the Insurance Journal Web site (www.insurancejournal.com), the Daily Headlines digital newsletter, and the company’s insurance markets site and database, MyNewMarkets.com.
Trammell, based in Texas, reports to Julie Tinney, vice president of sales and marketing for Wells Publishing.
Trammell comes to Wells Publishing with a background in advertising sales for print and online publications. Most recently she served as a multimedia account manager for the Austin American-Statesman newspaper in Austin. She began with the American-Statesman in 2005.
Trammell has also worked in sales at SBC Communications, the large telecommunications company in Austin, and in student recruiting and counseling with the Texas Culinary Institute.
Trammell is a graduate of Sam Houston State University.

Trammell’s appointment is one of several recent changes at Wells Publishing.
The company has also named a new East editor, Young Ha, based in New York, and a new West editor, Don Jergler, based in California.
In addition to publishing Insurance Journal, Wells Publishing, based in San Diego, Calif., publishes ClaimsJournal.com and MyNewMarkets.com. The Insurance Journal Academy of Insurance is also part of the Wells Publishing network.
