There are not enough competent adjustors available to handle this many fires in a short time span. Insureds should also be given some leeway to submit claim documentation also.
If it’s bad enough for the State to seek federal disaster relief, why isn’t it bad enough for State Farm to ask for a catastrophe declaration?
If they got the declaration, do they not still need to pay the claims on their policyholders like the other carriers are having to do?
