North Little Rock, Ark., fire officials say a weekend fire at a storage unit facility has caused $1 million in damage to recreational vehicles and a boat and $35,000 to the building.
Firefighters responded to the blaze on Northshore Drive about 8:50 p.m. on Oct. 15.
Fire Chief Al Cerrato told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette the fire may have started in a 1999 motor home, but crews don’t know its cause.
Cerrato says the motor home and Winnebago in another unit were destroyed and heat damaged a boat in a third unit.
He says the loss of other contents of the storage units is estimated at $15,000.
