The Arkansas Department of Insurance announced that assessments from property/casualty insurers and farm mutual insurance companies for the Arkansas Rural Risk Underwriting Association are due by Dec. 31, 2011.
The $200 assessment is for 2011 and covers expenses of mailing volunteer fire department renewal subscription notices.
