Authorities say several people were injured and some structures were damaged when severe thunderstorms moved through southern Oklahoma.
Calera officials told the Durant Daily Democrat on Aug. 13 that five people were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries related to a storm that passed through Bryan County about 7 p.m. Sunday.
At least one house sustained structural damage and others had roof damage in Calera. Several barns also were destroyed near Durant.
The Calera Police Department says school classes and municipal court proceedings were canceled.
