Hub International Limited (Hub) has acquired CFR Inc. (CFR), a Tulsa, Okla.–based insurance brokerage firm. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The operations will form a new regional Hub called Hub International CFR. CFR Chairman Jack Allen, Jr., CEO Robert Gardner and President Trey Biggs will join Hub, reporting to Roy Taylor, president, Western Region, Hub International.
CFR is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the state of Oklahoma, and is a full service firm offering property/casualty, employee benefits, surety and personal lines products and services.
The firm is endorsed brokerage of The Oklahoma State Homebuilders Association, and works with businesses across many industries, including non-profit, healthcare, manufacturing, energy and real estate. The agency’s personal lines group arranges programs for many high net worth individuals.
CFR has two locations, in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. In 2012, they were voted as “Best Place to Work in Oklahoma” by okcMagazine.
