The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Texas-Southeast division is hosting a black tie benefit gala, Lone Star Legends, at the Hilton Anatole – Chantilly Ballroom, in Dallas, on Feb. 21.
The keynote speaker of Lone Star Legends is Richard Fisher, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. The master of ceremonies is Pete Delkus, chief meteorologist at ABC-affiliate WFAA-TV in Dallas. The gala is to raise funds and awareness for foundational causes focused on children, education and veterans.
With these notable guests along with reputable professionals in the insurance industry, IICF hopes to raise $1 million, which will be awarded to the following organizations:
- Hunger Busters
- Frisco Family Services
- Disabled Veterans Insurance Careers (DVIC)
- Dallas After School Network (DASN)
- Wounded Warriors Project
- Salesmanship Club
