The Austin Association of Insurance Professionals (AAIP) announced that Kimmi Cantwell, with McGowan, Donnelly & Oberheu LLC has been elected president of the group for 2013/2014.
Also elected were:
- President-Elect,Mari Beth Matott, The Parks Group Inc.
- Recording Secretary Tiffany Way, MSW
- Treasurer Melissa Reed, Independent Insurance Agents of Texas
- Director Jan Kearbey, Service Lloyd’s Insurance Company
- Director Nathan Lenss, Brown & Brown
- Director Shelia Moore, Higginbotham & Associates
Additionally, Cantwell has received the 2012/2013 Insurance Professional of the year award for her outstanding service to AAIP.
The past presidents of AAIP also were honored at an installation dinner on May 21.
The 2013/2014 fiscal year is the 70th year for AAIP.
