INSURICA Insurance Management Network, based in Oklahoma City, has acquired Tulsa-area agency, Joe West Company, and related agencies, Lon T. Jackson Agency and McMasters Insurance Counselors/Keystone Insurance Agency, located in Sapulpa and Sand Springs, Okla., respectively.
The agencies will now operate as INSURICA Insurance Management Network of Tulsa LLC.
The acquisition was handled internally by INSURICA’s acquisition team, led by Senior Vice President of Mergers and Partnerships John Hester. Financial due diligence was performed by INSURICA CFO Ed Young, and Enterprise Controller Amy Herboek. The deal was effective on Jan. 1, 2014.
INSURICA purchased building naming rights to the downtown Tulsa office where Joe West Company is located at 4th and Boulder. Plans to add architecturally-consistent building signage with that of surrounding businesses are in the works and will make INSURICA a prominent visual image in the area near The Tulsa World and BOK Center.
With more than $74 million in annual revenue, INSURICA is among the largest insurance brokers in the United States. INSURICA has 26 offices located throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Arizona and California.
