Police in North Texas say they’ve arrested a man who became upset with his wife and drove his car into their home, trapping the woman in the rubble.
Firefighters in the Dallas suburb of Cedar Hill worked early on July 29 to remove the unidentified woman from debris in a bathroom. She was taken to a hospital and her condition was not known.
Cedar Hill city spokesman Corky Brown says 48-year-old Scottey Davis was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was being held at the DeSoto regional jail.
Brown says the couple was arguing and the dispute escalated.
The car later that day was in the front yard with bricks and other debris littering the front of the home.
Online jail records did not indicate an attorney for Davis.
