David VanDelinder, president and CEO of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT), has been presented with State Auto Insurance Co.’s Distinguished Service Award.
The presentation by State Auto CEO Bob Restrepo and Western Region President Gerald Ladner was made on Aug. 19 during an all associate meeting held in State Auto’s Western Region headquarters located in Austin.
The award recognizes VanDelinder for “his outstanding contributions to the Texas insurance marketplace, and for serving the public good by working with independent agents, regulators, lawmakers and carrier partners for a more competitive and transparent operating environment; for his many accomplishments during his tenure as President and CEO of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT), and for providing strong leadership in balancing complex issues of insurance, public policy and modeling what it truly means to serve our industry.”
