London-based Ascot Underwriting Ltd. has appointed Banos Georgiou as chairman, Diana Gladwell as senior vice president, and Devin Lefebvre as vice president of Ascot Underwriting Inc. in Houston.
The team will report to John Flower, president and chief underwriting officer of Ascot’s Houston office.
The appointments are part of the plan for Ascot, a Lloyd’s Syndicate, to expand in the United States.
Andrew Brooks, chief executive officer of Ascot Underwriting Ltd., said Georgiou, Gladwell and Lefebvre will further build our marine and energy liability capabilities and increase the scope of exploration and production package business written out of the Houston office.”
