Carrollton, Texas-based Insurance Technologies Corporation (ITC) is the newest company partner of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America’s Agents Council for Technology (ACT), the agents’ association announced.
Founded in 1983, ITC provides marketing, rating and management software and services to the insurance industry, including independent agents and insurance carriers. Currently, ITC serves more than 150 insurance companies and more than 6,000 agencies.
The Agents Council for Technology (ACT) was established in January 1999 by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big “I”) to provide a candid, action-oriented forum to address the critical workflow and technology issues facing the independent agency system.
ACT helps participants understand the perspectives of the other stakeholders in the process and provides excellent networking opportunities with the participants who are shaping the future for the industry on these issues.
