Leavitt Group announced that Dawn Gourgues joined the agency as vice president of benefits in their Houston office.
Previously, she was a health and welfare consultant working with middle market energy related accounts. Gourgues’ experience also includes financial projects and long-term strategic planning.
Leavitt Group added the Houston, Texas, location to their existing offices in Shreveport and Alexandria, Louisiana earlier this year, and also recently started a benefits practice.
Gourgues earned both a masters and bachelors degree from Louisiana State University. She holds the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC), Chartered Benefit Consultant (CBC), Advanced Insurance Designation (ACBC) designations, and the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) certification.
