Starr Companies has appointed Brian Bass as regional vice president for the South Central Region (Texas). Bass will be located in Starr’s Dallas office, where he will be responsible for the field leadership in the Southwest.
Bass has been in the insurance industry for more than 20 years. Previously, Bass was with AIG as a regional casualty executive – senior vice president responsible for the management of all casualty business for the Dallas and Houston regional territory. He is experienced in casualty underwriting, facultative and treaty reinsurance, insurance program management, and underwriting staff management.
Bass will report to Robert Cruz, national branch officer, director of field operations, in New York.
