Surplus lines broker and managing general agent, M.D. Jensvold & Co. Inc., has opened a new office in the Dallas area.
Judy Walker will continue to be the northwest regional manager as well as the general manager for the Dallas office. She has been with Jensvold for six years and has 20 years of experience in the surplus lines industry.
Jensvold also announced that Kate Garcia joined the firm in June from Burns and Wilcox. Garcia was brought to manage the binding division at M.D. Jensvold. Garcia oversees all binding operations in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Lubbock offices. She has seven years of experience and completed her CPCU in 2015.
The Dallas office has added two new underwriters and one production assistant and plans to add several new underwriters to the binding and brokerage teams.
The new office is located at 14673 Midway Road, Suite 240, Addison, Texas. The company also has locations in Houston, Lubbock and San Antonio.
