Stephens Insurance LLC, an affiliate of Stephens Inc., has hired industry veterans Leigh Ellis and Will Ogilvie in its Houston office.
Ellis joins Stephens as a senior vice president in the commercial property/casualty practice with expertise in advising large commercial accounts. Ellis will develop Stephens Insurance’s Houston book of business in property/casualty and establish a personal lines market for Stephens in the region. Prior to joining Stephens, Ellis spent seven years at Marsh & McLennan Agency and began his career working for American General Fire and Casualty Co.
Ogilvie will serve as vice president of the life/health benefits practice of Stephens Insurance in Houston. In this role, he will work with business leaders to identify opportunities to improve employee benefit programs and administrative services, and tailor customized solutions for each client’s business goals. With 16-years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Ogilvie joins Stephens from Ascende, an EPIC Company. He also previously worked for DirectPath LLC and RS Investments.
Stephens Insurance is headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, and has more than 170 associates throughout a network of offices in Fayetteville, Jonesboro, Dallas, Austin, Jackson, Houston and Birmingham.
