Higginbotham and Sellers-Patterson Insurance have merged operations in Tyler, Texas.
Sellers-Patterson, led by Linda Sellers, is Higginbotham’s second office in Tyler; the first established in 2014 when Higginbotham entered the market. The union gives the combined firm a local workforce of 16 serving businesses and families in northeast Texas.
Higginbotham is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, and operates 29 offices in Texas and Oklahoma City that collaborate to provide a single source solution for insurance and financial services. Sellers-Patterson, an employee benefits and individual health insurance broker, will draw on Higginbotham’s property/casualty insurance capabilities to expand its service portfolio.
Sellers serves the City of Tyler as Mayor Pro Tem and representative on City Council for District 1. Her community service has included chairman of the Tyler AreaChamber of Commerce and president of the Tyler Association of Life Underwriters.
The office will continue operating as Sellers-Patterson at 5070 Kinsey Drive under the direction of Linda Sellers as managing director. Higginbotham is located less than two miles away at 3347 Old Jacksonville Highway.
