Dean & Draper Insurance Agency LP has acquired Painter Reichman & Co., a Houston-based agency specializing in personal and commercial insurance.
Painter Reichman & Co was founded in 1906 and was purchased by J.T. Curson in 1935. Since then, it has remained family-owned until its acquisition on Dec. 1, 2018, by Dean & Draper, which is also headquartered in Houston.
Don Curson joined Painter Reichman & Co in 1976 as the third generation in the Curson family to make a career in the insurance industry. Curson said the decision to join Dean & Draper was prompted by the company’s reputation, stability, and customer-focused approach, values that Dean & Draper share with that of Painter Reichman & Co.
Dean & Draper Insurance is a full-service insurance agency that has offered commercial and personal insurance, as well as employee benefits for over 38 years.
