    they want the money to go to the state fund, not ear-marked for opoid abuse programs? Sounds like the “tobacco settlement” which enriched several attorneys and is being used by state governments for all kinds of things, except not for things like smoking prevention or medical care for those too ill and too poor to hire counsel to sue. Oh yes, the “settlement” will certainly make SOMEONE pay but who will BENEFIT is surely not clear. Remember folks, when it comes to money, people act funny!
