Irving, Texas-based managing general agent specializing in low cost auto insurance, Bluefire Insurance, said it will provide approximately $2.7 million dollars in rate relief to assist policyholders with financial hardships in Louisiana.
In response to the turbulent times brought on by COVID-19, Bluefire announced a temporary rate reduction of 10% on renewal policies, effective May 15 through Nov. 14, 2020.
In addition, Bluefire is offering a 10% reduction to new policies issued from May 15 through Aug. 15, 2020. Bluefire’s rate reduction is aimed at decreasing insurance costs for the entire six-month policy term, not just for a few months.
