Greg Abbott should be resigning right there with him. He presided over multiple legislative sessions without passing winterization requirements. He’s just as responsible for this as ERCOT and the PUC. Also responsible is the Texas Railroad Commission for failing to enact regulations to ensure the flow of natural gas in cold temperatures. That had an effect beyond just Texas. Texas has extreme cold about every 10 years. It can be expected. It is not as usual as we’re being lead to believe. Every 10 years is often enough to plan and prepare for it.
