Alera Group, a top independent national insurance and wealth services firm, today announced the acquisition of Houston, Texas-based Greenhill Insurance Services, a managing general underwriter and program manager with binding authority to underwrite professional liability programs throughout the country for various insurance companies.

Greenhill Insurance Services provides professional liability, errors and omissions liability, general liability, and hired and non-owned automobile liability coverage. Greenhill is a limited liability company licensed as a managing general agent, surplus lines agent and general lines Property and Casualty agent with the ability to do business in all 50 states and Canada.
The Greenhill Insurance Services team will continue serving clients in their existing roles. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
