Texas Mutual Insurance Company recently promoted John Grube to vice president of regional operations for Texas Mutual’s Austin region, effective May 2026.
In this new role, Grube will direct and coordinate all regional office operations, including underwriting, claims, safety services, premium audit and business development.

Grube first joined Texas Mutual in 2013 and has built an impressive career across the organization over the past decade. Throughout his tenure, he has held a variety of roles, including underwriter, territory manager and underwriting supervisor, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the business from multiple perspectives.
Most recently, he served as senior manager of agency operations, where he oversaw the management of the company’s safety group programs, commission and incentive structures, the modernization of document delivery, and agency onboarding and licensing.
