Two Progressive Insurance Company representatives from Kentucky and Arkansas who happen to share the same first and last name, have been named by their respective state association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) as Company Representatives of the Year for 2002. Additionally, Progressive was honored by the Arkansas PIA as the Company of the Year for the state.
Robert H. Jones, Progressive’s territory sales manager for southern Arkansas, was named the Arkansas PIA Company Representative of the Year at a luncheon held by the organization on June 7. The award is presented to the company representative who has offered the best service to PIA-member companies in the state, and is voted on by the 20 board members of the Arkansas PIA. Progressive was also recognized as the Arkansas PIA Company of the Year at the luncheon.
Meanwhile, the Kentucky PIA named Robert L. Jones, Progressive’s regional sales manager for Kentucky and West Virginia, Company Representative of the Year for the state. The award was presented at the Kentucky PIA annual convention on May 16, at the University Plaza Hotel in Bowling Green. Progressive was also a nominee for Company of the Year in the state.
