Officials at Charlotte-based American Wholesale Insurance Group, Inc. (American Wholesale) named J. Scott Reynolds to the position of Chief Actuary and Administrative Officer.
American Wholesale is an insurance organization serving retail agents and brokers via its wholesale brokerage, underwriting, and premium financing capabilities.
In this capacity, Reynolds is responsible for reviewing the overall actuarial soundness and underwriting integrity of current and potential business written company-wide. As Chief Administrative Officer, Reynolds is also responsible for ensuring the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of company systems and infrastructure.
Reynolds was most recently manager of Royal & SunAlliance’s Finance & Actuarial Departments for Business Insurance throughout the U.S.
