Atlanta-based ebix.com Inc. of Atlanta appointed G. Berry Klein as director of ebixExchange, the company’s implementation of Microsoft.NET technology to provide products and services to the insurance carrier marketplace in the areas of download, upload, billing enquiry, claims enquiry, and reinsurance transactions.
He will be responsible for INS-site, the upload/download mail-boxing system that allows a carrier to download data into more than 35 different agency systems. Originally developed by AT&T under the previous name of AT&T Invicw, and bought in 2001 by ebix from Platinum Equity fund, the INS-site family of products is a subset of services provided by ebixExchange.
