Fitch Ratings has opened an office in Tampa, Fla. that will concentrate on credit analytics. Stating that the office is now fully operational, Fitch said the Tampa office marks the latest step in Fitch Public Finance’s development of a nationwide network of regional offices as well as its secondary effort to create a regional network specifically for health care credits and other not-for-profits.
The Fitch Ratings Public Finance group is headquartered in New York with regional offices in Chicago, San Francisco, Austin, Texas, Arlington, Va., and Tampa, Fla. The group has health care specialists in Tampa and Arlington. The Tampa office analytic staff will be headed by Robert Wetzler, a Director in the health care group whose areas of focus are hospitals, long-term care providers, and other not-for-profit entities.
