The board of directors of Boca Raton, Fla.-based NCCI Holdings Inc., a workers’ compensation products and services provider, appointed Stephen Klingel as president and CEO of the company.
Klingel is currently senior vice president—Commercial Lines, with The St. Paul companies. In nearly three decades with The St. Paul, Klingel has held a variety of key roles in the company, including several field and corporate management positions, such as: president—Personal Insurance, regional president—Upper Midwest Region, vice president—Commercial Underwriting and vice president/general manager.
He succeeds Chapin Clark, who has served as interim president and CEO of NCCI since November 2001.
