Grover L. Davis, chairman and CEO of Atlanta-based Crawford & Company, announced that Forrest L. Minix has submitted his resignation as a member of the Board of Directors of Crawford & Company, effective December 31, 2002. In his letter to the Board, Mr. Minix stated that he was resigning to allow the Board an opportunity to increase the number of independent directors.
Davis stated, “The Board of Directors, officers and employees of Crawford & Company are extremely grateful to Forrest for the 53 years of service to the Company, which included nearly 30 years as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors.”
