Harbor Capital Advisors announced that Jesse J. Watkins has joined the firm as Associate Director in its Savannah, Ga. office. The company noted that Watkins is well know in industry circles as a result of his long tenure as Managing Director of Herbert L. Jamison & Co., L.L.C., one of the largest privately owned brokerage firms in the United States specializing in professional liability.
In addition to teaching insurance courses, speaking before industry groups and writing articles on insurance topics, Watkins background includes executive level positions in the following industry associations: president of the New York Brokers Association; Board member of the International Insurance Brokers Association in Brussels; member of the Board of the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers (CIAB); and member of the Board of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII).
