The Professional Insurance Agents of Florida (PIA) honored Andy Pappas, assistant vice president of Poe Financial Group Inc., with the association’s valued Company Representative of the Year Award.
PIA announced the award at its annual awards banquet on Sept. 16, 2003, at the Belleview Biltmore in Clearwater.
The award is given to a Florida-domiciled insurance company representative based on qualifications that demonstrate high ethical standards, assistance given to agents and dedication to the insurance industry. Pappas received this statewide award because of his tireless efforts in promoting Poe Financial Group and his dedication to its clients, customers and employees.
Bill Poe, Jr., president of Poe Financial Group, Inc., commented, “We are very proud of Andy. He works very hard and is most deserving of this recognition.”
Pappas is automatically nominated for the national PIA Company Representative of the Year Award, which is awarded for professional experience, and awareness of industry problems and market conditions at its national conference.
