A fire early Monday morning took the lives of a Tarrant, Alabama family. The fire, which started in the attic, appears to be electrical in nature and likely will be deemed to be an accident. No monetary damages to the home has yet been released.
James E. Wood Jr., 37, Wanda Wood, 49, and Jamie Wood, 13, all died in the fire that started at approximately 4 a.m. Monday.
The Alabama State Fire Marshals Office is investigating the fire in conjunction with the Tarrant Police Department and the Tarrant Fire Department.
