A Coconut Creek area insurance agent has surrendered his license after pleading guilty to securities fraud, according to the Florida Department of Financial Services.
Investigators with the department discovered that Daniel Alan Camm, 35, pleaded guilty to two felony counts of securities fraud last year. Camm reportedly failed to disclose to the department his guilty plea and subsequent sentencing.
As part of a settlement with the department, Camm surrendered his insurance license to the department. Camm had been licensed as a life, health and variable annuities agent since January 1995.
