The Cooper Gay Group, an independent insurance and reinsurance broker, announced that Mary Glass has joined its Birmingham, Alabama office as an assistant vice president. Her addition complements the growing staff in Birmingham (3000 Riverchase Galleria), which opened in June.
Kevin Davis, vice president in charge of Cooper Gay’s office in Birmingham, commented, “We are extremely excited and equally fortunate to have Mary join the organization. She brings a wealth of experience, unparalleled technical knowledge and coveted market relationships that span a wide spectrum of property and casualty underwriters.”
Previously, Glass was with Gresham & Associates in Birmingham, producing and marketing multiple lines of wholesale insurance. Prior to that she worked in the wholesale intermediary industry, including senior positions with Stuart Smith (Nashville), E & S Facilities (Birmingham) and John Lloyd and Company (Birmingham).
