Mady Nazario has been promoted from underwriter to office administrator of American Hobbyist Insurance Inc.’s national office in Stuart, Fla. The firm is a national provider of collector-vehicle insurance. The Florida office provides underwriting and customer service to customers and insurance agents throughout the United States.
Nazario joined American Hobbyist in 2002 as an underwriter. As office administrator she oversaw underwriting of new risks and existing accounts, reviewed applications and managed customer service.
Before Nazario embarked on her insurance career, she worked in sales at an auto dealership. While there, she became interested in the process of insuring cars and in 1996 earned her Florida insurance agent license. Her 10 years experience in the auto industry—insuring automobiles and working at the dealership—gave her confidence and expertise in how to help her customers. Since joining American Hobbyist, she has been rewarded with numerous customer service certifications.
American Hobbyist Insurance is a national provider of collector-vehicle insurance for a wide range of classic cars and trucks, custom classics, military vehicles, modern classics, muscle cars, replicas and street rods. It is underwritten by American Reliable Insurance Company and is available in 44 states. It is not currently available in Alaska, Hawaii, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, or Virginia. The program is available in California to Auto Club members only.
