The Prime Insurance Syndicate Inc. (www.primeis.com) has received approval to write surplus lines insurance business in Florida effective as of Feb. 9.
Prime, which offers solutions for hard-to-place risks, will offer lines in Florida including assisted living centers, nursing homes, day care, retirement centers, general liability, professional liability, inland marine/cargo, garage services (no auto), recreation, water sports, amusement operators, restaurants, bars, taverns, liquor liability and more.
With authorization in Florida, Prime now has the authority to write surplus lines business in 42 U.S. states and territories.
