Vero Beach, Fla.-based Felten & Associates has announced a major corporate expansion to include offices in Stuart, Fla. and Woodstock, Vermont; in addition to its corporate office in Vero Beach, Fla.
Ken Felten, owner of Felten & Associates announced that the demand for the insurance and financial services offered through their Vero Beach location has increased to the point where branch offices in Stuart are necessary. Expansion into Vermont was considered after so many of Felten & Associates’ clients voiced their desire for Felten & Associates’ insurance and financial planning services for their northern locations.
“Vermont is centrally located in an area that our clients migrate to every summer. We want to have offices located close to their winter homes on the Treasure Coast and a location close to their homes along the northeastern seaboard.” Felten said. He announced that future branch openings in other northern states and Florida locations were also being contemplated.
Several employees were hired or promoted as a result of the expansion plans including: Jean Staniewicz, executive vice president and CEO. Cathy Sherry, financial representative, to establish the Stuart location at 850 NW Federal Highway, Stuart; Jeremy Odom, financial representative, to augment the financial services team in Vero Beach; Shellie Granzow, account manager, to assist the commercial lines and employee benefit divisions in Vero Beach. Additional significant new hires are now pending in the Vero Beach office.
