“Will You Accept the Challenge?” is the theme of the annual Alabama Independent Insurance Agents conference and exhibition slated to begin Friday morning and continue through June 19 in Destin, Fla.
During Friday continuing education activities, Young Agents will learn the in’s and out’s of insurance industry sales in sessions about “The Breath of a Salesman.” Friday’s events will include a continental breakfast with exhibitors, trade show, fishing and golf tournaments.
General sessions, beginning Saturday, June 18 will feature presentations by Bill Stiglitz, Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America president elect; Walter A. Bell, commissioner of the Alabama Department of Insurance; and Dennis Rowe, president and CEO of Penn National Insurance.
“Ethics: Counting the Cost,” an interactive case study, will be presented during the afternoon by Infinity. An awards banquet will be held Saturday evening, during which AIIA members will be honored for their contributions to the association.
