The Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky (IIAK) installed Pikeville insurance agent, James England as its 109th president. He was installed at the association’s 109th annual convention in Lexington, which was held June 23-24.
England is a senior vice president in the Mid-Atlantic Region of Acordia of Kentucky. A graduate of Pikeville College, he began his insurance career at Flat Top Insurance Agency in Pikeville. England also holds the position of vice chair for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) Southern Agents Conference (SAC).
The insurance group also installed Joe Barnes, AAI, of Lexington as its president-elect. Barnes is the president and CEO of Bush & Boggs Insurance Agency in Lexington and Richards Insurance in Frankfort. He is also an active partner in both Leestown Road Insurance Center and Blue Sky Financial Agency.
Also installed as IIAK Vice President was Keith Riley, AAI of Benton. Riley is chief marketing officer with Peel & Holland Financial Group. He is currently serving on the IIABA (national association) Young Agents Committee and is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University.
