Citizens Property Insurance Company, the state-run insurer of last resort, is now in the process of moving its headquarters to the 50,000 square foot Watkins Building in the Commonwealth Center at 2101 Maryland Circle in Tallahassee.
Citizens employees in Tallahassee were previously spread throughout three locations in Tallahassee, including Monroe Park Tower building, where some of the staff will remain.
Employees are now in the process of moving. By the end of next week, 170 employees will be working out of the Watkins building. And next year, all of the company’s Tallahassee staff will be there.
