The acquisition of de Arrieta Insurance Agency Inc. with offices in Carson City and Elko, Nev. has been announced jointly by Kenneth D. Kirk, Brown & Brown Inc.’s regional executive vice president, and James A. de Arietta, president of the Nevada firm. Brown & Brown has headquarters in Daytona Beach and Tampa, Fla.
With annualized revenues of approximately $2 million, de Arrieta is a retail insurance agency which serves the general commercial property and casualty and personal insurance needs of a wide range of clients in Nevada and surrounding states.
De Arrieta, along with Billie Jean McMenamy, acting profit center manager, will continue to operating the agency in its existing locations as a new freestanding Brown & Brown profit center.
Brown & Brown and its subsidiaries offer a broad range of insurance and reinsurance products and services, as well as risk management, third-party administration and managed health care programs.
