Mercator Risk Services, an independent wholesale insurance broker based in new York, has added three members to its growing casualty practice. Win Carroll, Marshall Overacre, and Anne Picheta have joined Mercator’s Atlanta office after most recently working together at Colemont Insurance Brokers.
Carroll has been appointed senior vice president of the firm and will lead Mercator’s regional casualty practice in the Southeast. Overacre has been appointed associate vice president.
With 13 years of experience in the insurance industry, Carroll was a
casualty broker at Colemont and was responsible for primary and
excess casualty for habitational, construction and manufacturing
risk. Prior to working at Colemont, he worked at AIG.
Overacre was also a casualty broker at Colemont and has also worked at Gresham and Associates. He is particularly experienced in
general casualty in the construction industry.
