Officials in western Kentucky now say arson is to blame for the fire last week that nearly destroyed the Carlisle County Courthouse.
The investigation is still under way.
The fire started early on the morning of Dec. 26. No one was inside when the blaze broke out.
An official said the courthouse was built in the early 1980s after the previous courthouse was burned down by an arsonist.
Kentucky State Police say the Kentucky Association of Counties is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
