Florida Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink named Tammy Teston as deputy chief financial officer for the state’s Department of Financial Services.
A former banker and businesswoman, Teston most recently served as the senior vice president and market director for Bank of America Investment Services in Sarasota.
Teston will share in oversight of the Divisions of Consumer Services; Agent and Agencies; Funeral, Cemetery and Consumer Services; Rehabilitation and Liquidation; and the My Safe Florida Home program.
