Georgia drivers lined up at a Citgo gas station in Norcross to take advantage of $1.99 gas.
It was part of a promotion campaign by Infinity Insurance Co. of Alpharetta on July 10. There was a catch though, no one could purchase more than ten gallons or a $20 maximum.
The promotion lasted only about four hours. Gas station operators promptly switched the price of regular unleaded back to $4.11 a gallon.
