Florida Farm Bureau to Attend Public Hearing after Rate Hike Request

In its rate filing of June 20, Florida Farm Bureau requested a statewide average increase of 28.4 percent for its homeowners line of business.

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation announced a public rate hearing to discuss the rate increase request. The hearing will take place on July 30 at 9 a.m. at the Senate Office Building in Tallahassee.

    Good luck getting this one Farm Bureau. I'm not a fan of the over regulation of this market, but I also face up to the fact that they won't approve increases for anyone.
