Montgomery Insurance, a Liberty Mutual Agency Markets regional company, is expanding its school program in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Currently insuring more than 240 public and private schools across these four states, Montgomery Insurance said it will work with its independent agent appointees to grow this book of business this year.
Through school inspections, providing safety resources to administrators and access to specialized school loss prevention personnel, Montgomery Insurance encourages its school clients to be active participants in making their schools safer learning and working environments for students and staff.
Montgomery Insurance provides school clients’ access to its Safety Advantage Network, a group of vendors whose products and school safety solutions address both complex issues and more common school hazards including:
- School violence prevention;
- Sexual molestation awareness and prevention;
- Background checks for school employees and volunteers;
- Onsite AED equipment;
- Decision Driving for school bus drivers;
- Bleacher and playground safety and inspections; and
- Facilities and equipment assessments for athletic fields, vocational shops, science labs, and food service.
The Montgomery Insurance School Program provides comprehensive core coverages tailored to individual school districts’ needs. Other available coverages include workers’ compensation and employers’ liability, school leaders’ errors & omission liability, law enforcement professional liability, sexual misconduct & molestation liability, and violent event response coverages.
